Grilled Avocado Toast
When sick it is crucial to hydrate and eat well, at the beginning hydration and rest are so important - and most times you aren’t even hungry (this just proves why fasting is so important, when you are sick you don’t even feel like eating- your body is so focused on fighting off the disease that it focuses it’s energy on that instead of digesting and eating!!!) and when you do start to get hungry the last thing your immune system needs is to be bombarded with sugars, inflammatory foods or artificial additives.
So here is my healthy option: Grilled Avocado Toast.
My avocados weren’t ripe so I grilled them and they soften- amazing trick 🥑 and of course I had a delicious veggie soup as well!
Just slice your avocado and grill in a medium heat pan, I recommend covering the pan with the lid so the heat softens the avocado evenly then enjoy on a piece of toast!!
