PB & Berry Toast

Cleaned out the fridge before tomorrow’s trip and I’m not complaining about what came out of it... this PB & Berry is delicious and so much healthier than your typical toast!

Made with @mikeys original muffin toasted + @central_market crunchy peanut butter and homemade berry compote, sprinkled it off with hemp seeds and chia seeds for added protein! Here is the simple recipe for the Berry Compote:


Ingredients:
1 cup mixed berries
1/2 lemon juice


Directions:
1. In a medium heat skillet, add berries and lemon juice. Cook for about 4 minutes and smash down with a fork.
2. Once compote is juicy and cooked, transfer to bowl and refrigerate to cool.
3. Add to toast or yogurt bowls and enjoy!!!
Optional: add in sweetener of choice or chia seeds to thicken.

Ingredientes:
1 taza de berries mezcladas
1/2 jugo de lima


Preparación:
1. En un sartén a temperatura media agregar berries y jugo de lima. Cocina por 4 minutos y aplasta los berries con un tenedor.
2. Una ves que este jugoso y cocido, transfiere a un envase y refrigerado para que se enfríe.
3. Agrégaselo a tus panes o yogurts y disfrútalo!
Opcional: agrega endulzante al gusto o semillas de chia para una consistencia más espesa.
